Territory Assignments — what it is

How an owner divides the map. Give a rep a home state, counties, and (optionally) cities, and their Restaurant Call List opens on that patch by default.

Assign a rep a default state, counties, and cities; their call list opens there. (Made-up restaurants shown.)

They can still filter anywhere — a territory is a starting point, not a fence — but they begin where they belong. It’s the simplest guard against two reps working the same block, and the fastest way to make a new hire productive: assign the patch, and their list is waiting the first time they sign in.

For a growing team it’s how coverage stays deliberate rather than accidental — every corner of the market owned by someone, and no corner worked twice.

Feature guide — the screen shown is a faithful mock-up with made-up restaurants and reps (no client data). How the underlying data is gathered and kept current is Edgebrook’s proprietary process, intentionally not detailed here.
